We found out this morning that our connecting flight from Johannesburg to Heathrow was cancelled. What followed was a good part of the day spent in uncertainty and concern. We likely will not be able to leave Malawi now until next Wednesday, Apr 21 as they only fly out of Blantyre two days a week (Wed. & Sat.).
Our Prayer Requests:
1. Flights and we will be able to make our connections. We have uncertainty and no one on this end to help us try to get on a plane.
2. Mike, Sydney and Elijah will be okay with the extended absence from home.
About Me

- Sydney and I will be going to Malawi, Africa to partner with Alex and Andre VanWoerden and Emmanuel International. Our purpose is to connect with children in Orphan Care Centres and local schools in meaningful ways. We plan to share the simple message of Jesus, fellowship with the children by providing lunch and sharing the meal with them and playing soccer. Sydney and I will distribute teddy bears to orphans who have no toys, hand out tee shirts so kindly donated by Stillwood Camp and provide for other tangible needs (clothing and school supplies).
